Odin Construction Solutions, Inc is a rapidly growing company specializing in environmental remediation and construction services. They are seeking a Cost Accountant to perform advanced cost accounting analyses, prepare budget reports, and ensure accurate revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

Gathers and compiles all related cost information
Generates monthly invoices and track cash receipts
Generates and tracks the production on project activities
Predicts, plans, and records accurate revenue recognition
Maintains and generates project related purchase orders and subcontracts
Predicts, plans, and records variable costs
Reviews daily timecards for coding inaccuracies
Reviews and analyzes actual costs to identify inaccuracies
Reviews, analyzes, and reports actual profit margins
Performs project close out of documentation and lien releases
Performs month-end and year-end closings with assistance
Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or Business Administration required
United States (Required)

Preferred

At least two years of experience in cost accounting preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent numeracy skills along with a logical and analytical mind
Proficient in Microsoft Office, HCSS products, and accounting software (Vista or Spectrum)
Thorough understanding of accounting procedures
Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail
Ability to manage confidential information
