Operations Support Associate (28930)
Dahl Consulting is a leader in the global logistics and supply chain industry, and they are seeking an Operations Support Associate to join their operations team. This role focuses on supporting daily operational activities related to order processing, inventory coordination, and customer communication to ensure operational efficiency and high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Utilize technology and established processes to identify operational issues and collaborate with team members to remove roadblocks
Support order planning and execution activities, ensuring accuracy and completion in operating systems
Assist with coordination of order-related tasks, including shipment tracking, exception management, inventory reconciliation, forecasting, replenishment, invoicing, and claim or credit reconciliation
Help resolve exception orders by working with customers, transportation providers, distribution partners, and other third parties
Maintain item-level data such as pricing, pack sizes, and product descriptions in company systems
Communicate with vendors to support continuous product supply
Identify and assist in resolving service issues such as late deliveries to minimize customer impact
Deliver high levels of customer service through proactive communication and timely responses
Communicate operational updates to internal teams and track performance against tactical and operational KPIs
Participate in process improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiencies
Perform additional duties as assigned based on team or regional requirements
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Windows
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving capabilities
Preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field
Experience or familiarity with supply chain, logistics, or operations support functions
Process-oriented approach with interest in continuous improvement
Ability to explain policies, procedures, and operational information clearly
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners
Experience supporting KPI-driven environments
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
