Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of petroleum construction materials, parts, and equipment
Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring parts are stored safely and properly labeled. Prepare and stage materials, tools, and equipment for field crews and job sites
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including packing orders and completing documentation
Track inventory using inventory management systems or manual logs; report shortages or discrepancies
Handle hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocols and proper containment procedures
Conduct regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and assist in maintaining minimum stock levels
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety and environmental regulations
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Assist with tool tracking, calibration schedules, and maintenance coordination for shared equipment

Required

Previous work in a warehouse, tool room, or material handling role — preferably in construction, petroleum, or industrial sectors
Familiarity with construction materials, petroleum equipment, or mechanical/electrical parts
Experience using inventory control systems (e.g., Excel, SAP, Fishbowl, or other WMS software)
Forklift certification or experience operating pallet jacks, lifts, or hoists
Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, complete tasks on time, and support field teams reliably
Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols, PPE use, and emergency procedures
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, including lifting, loading, and outdoor work
Experience preparing shipments, packing materials, and completing receiving documentation
Known for being organized, dependable, and detail-oriented in handling tools, parts, and job prep
Ability to pass pre-employment physical with extensive lifting (up to 75 lb), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting
Ability to pass pre-employment drug-screening and background check
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record over the past 5 years required
