Responsibilities
Provide hands-on leadership and operational accountability for the Utah and California custom home design-build business
Crucially, unify and lead the construction, architectural, and interior design departments to create a singular, cohesive, and high-performing team, resolving any internal friction for flawless project execution
Oversee all operational aspects, including construction management, project delivery, and process optimization. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of luxury quality
Oversee the finance and accounting functions for the business unit. Maintain a profitable operation and drive strategic business development to fuel continued growth
Leverage deep knowledge of the Mountain West market, including established relationships with key subcontractors and vendors
Manage multiple direct reports, including the executive leads for Architecture, Interior Design, and Construction, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability among a 150+ person team
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Construction, Real Estate, etc
15+ years of progressive experience in construction and executive business leadership, with a significant portion in the design-build model
Strong preference for experience managing and delivering high-end custom homes in the $5M to $20M+ price range
Proven ability to manage diverse teams including architects, interior designers, and construction personnel, driving them toward a unified goal
Demonstrated capability of running and growing a custom home business with strong operational and business development skills
Must be willing to be full-time based in the Park City/Salt Lake City area, Utah
Deep familiarity with the Utah market, codes, and subcontractor base is highly valued
Preferred
Broader experience with related asset types such as hotel projects, senior living, and/or master-planned communities
