Fluid Systems Test Laboratory Technologist
Crane Pumps & Systems is focused on bringing innovative pump products to market and enhancing existing products. They are seeking a Fluid Systems Test Laboratory Technologist who will be responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluating pump systems, as well as translating results into insights for engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Execute scheduled test plans for pumps and components
Plumb, wire, and commission AC/DC test setups; operate specialized test equipment safely and effectively
Log, tabulate, and report results; prepare clear documentation in Microsoft Office
Analyze trends and anomalies; recommend next steps to stakeholders
Fabricate fixtures and parts to support new or unique test configurations
Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and rebuild pumps to verify findings
Follow existing work instructions; draft new procedures where gaps exist
Support additional tasks as assigned; travel is minimal (under 5%)
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
3–5 years of relevant experience; or a 2-year technical/associate degree in a related field plus 1–3 years of experience
Mechanical/electrical aptitude with the ability to interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic
Understanding of AC and DC power systems
Hands-on familiarity with pumps and pump systems
Strong written and verbal communication; proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred
Machinist experience for fixture/part fabrication
