Responsibilities
Lead and develop maintenance and engineering teams to support production uptime and reliability
Drive process improvement initiatives, automation upgrades, and lean manufacturing practices
Integrate new technologies and equipment across production lines
Apply AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC) to improve quality and manufacturing robustness
Provide technical leadership for PLC-based systems (Allen-Bradley)
Manage capital projects, including budgeting, timelines, and vendor coordination
Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a strong safety culture
Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams
Maintain strong floor presence to troubleshoot issues and support operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related engineering discipline)
7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
3+ years in an engineering or maintenance leadership role
Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, automation, and process improvement
Strong working knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC)
Hands-on experience with PLC systems (Allen-Bradley)
Demonstrated success managing technical projects and capital investments
Preferred
Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
