Architectural Audit: Perform deep-dive assessments of Gigamon hardware (HC/TA series) and software/firmware configurations
Strategic Gap Analysis: Interview client stakeholders to translate high-level business needs into technical visibility requirements
Security Optimization: Review traffic brokerage policies to ensure security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS) are receiving high-fidelity, decrypted data
Benchmarking: Compare current Gigamon implementation against industry standards and comparable technologies (e.g., Keysight, Arista, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Conduct a comprehensive assessment of a large-scale Gigamon visibility fabric
Evaluate the current state, identify gaps in security and operational visibility, and provide strategic recommendations for optimization and future-state design
Perform deep-dive assessments of Gigamon hardware (HC/TA series) and software/firmware configurations
Interview client stakeholders to translate high-level business needs into technical visibility requirements
Review traffic brokerage policies to ensure security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS) are receiving high-fidelity, decrypted data
Compare current Gigamon implementation against industry standards and comparable technologies (e.g., Keysight, Arista, etc.)
Not just a configurer, but someone who understands why traffic is being routed a certain way
Must have hands-on experience with advanced features like SSL/TLS Decryption, De-duplication, and Flow Mapping
Experience working within 'Big 4' or large consultancy frameworks
Ideally Gigamon Professional (GCP) certified
