Responsibilities
Set and execute a risk-based internal audit plan covering finance, operations, technology, and compliance
Partner with senior leadership to assess evolving risks and drive meaningful improvements
Lead audits that surface control gaps and translate findings into practical, business-ready recommendations
Oversee technology and SOX-related audits and support regulatory interactions
Present audit insights and themes to the Audit Committee and executive stakeholders
Qualification
Required
10+ years of internal and/or external audit experience, ideally within insurance or financial services
Strong leadership experience building and guiding audit teams in complex environments
Deep understanding of internal controls, risk management, and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with executives and boards
Preferred
Professional certifications (CIA, CPA, CA, CISA) strongly preferred
