This role will focus on incident management, organizational transformation, and aligning operational practices with customer experience.

Responsibilities
Lead the transformation of incident response, change management, and RCA practices to support containerized services and continuous delivery in a public cloud environment
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of major incidents, ensuring timely triage, resolution, and delivery of preliminary RCAs within 1 business day
Serve as the escalation point for executive-level communications during outages. Prepare and deliver clear, business-aligned updates to internal and external C-level stakeholders
Partner with platform and data teams to evolve from traditional ITSM tools (e.g., Remedy) to an AI Ops platform anchored in a public cloud data lake
Shape the future-state org, mentor existing talent, and build a high-performing team aligned to our modernization goals
Collaborate with decentralized development teams to define and enforce enterprise-wide standards for KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics
Ensure operational practices support a consistent and reliable customer experience, especially during high-impact events
Drive alignment across Dev, Infra, and Security teams to ensure accountability and clarity in ownership models
Qualification
Required
10+ years in Operations, SRE, or Infrastructure leadership roles, with experience in both legacy and cloud-native environments
Proven ability to lead during high-pressure incidents and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders
Deep understanding of DevOps, SRE, ITIL, and modern platform operations
Experience with tools such as Remedy, PagerDuty, Splunk, and a vision for transitioning to AI Ops
Strong familiarity with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Demonstrated success in organizational transformation, including team design and talent development
Preferred
Experience in a publicly traded or regulated environment
Ability to lead through influence in matrixed, decentralized teams
Strategic thinker with a bias for action, accountability, and continuous improvement
