Responsibilities
Execute builds exactly as represented in the prints and per customer requirements
Calculate unspecified dimensions and lay out designs using a range of materials
Establish and coordinate reference points and tooling holes using straightedges and precision measuring tools
Lead a team that fits and assembles tooling components for Aerospace customers
Perform repairs and rework on tools as needed
Create sketches and drawings for the fabrication department as required
Operate machines as needed, including lathes, Bridgeports, and grinders
Take on additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
5+ years as a fixture/jig builder in the aerospace industry
Strong grasp of geometric tolerances (GD&T) and blueprint fluency
Clear written and verbal communication and strong math skills
Organization, follow-through, and urgency around deadlines and deliverables
High School Diploma or equivalent

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required
Preferred
Experience with CATIA V5 and ENOVIA is a plus
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards (desired)
