They are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and supporting the organization’s financial operations by maintaining compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities
Adhere to the company’s core values, policies and operating procedures
Prepare monthly AP accruals
Handle petty cash reimbursements: Verify and process petty cash reimbursement requests, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
Manage utility Invoices: Code and process utility invoices for multiple companies and locations
Manage invoice processing in Basware/Compeat Inventory system
Respond to vendor inquires and research, resolve vendor statement discrepancies
Setup new vendors
Track Preliminary Lien Notices and Conditional & Unconditional Payment Waivers, by project
Maintain project filing, ensuring that contracts, invoices, reports, and all other required documents are being maintained correctly
Route contracts, change orders and invoices via PandaDoc for signature approvals
Enter new commitments into Oracle JD Edwards Job Cost Module
Review and process invoices for payment - weekly check runs
Run and distribute monthly JDE CIP reports and ad hoc reporting as needed
Special Projects as assigned by Accounts Payable Manager and/or Director of Construction Accounting
Qualification
Required
2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and accounting software (JD Edwards or similar)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and clerical accounting procedures
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to handle sensitive financial information
