Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop sourcing team members to build capability, drive accountability, and support a high-performing sourcing organization
Implement sourcing strategies to support business objectives across assigned categories
Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers based on capability, capacity, quality, compliance, and cost competitiveness
Support the development and execution of global sourcing processes, policies, and business continuity plans
Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, responsiveness, and alignment with company standards
Lead supplier business reviews, track KPIs, and drive corrective actions to improve quality, delivery, and cost
Partner with suppliers to identify value creation opportunities, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Lead negotiations for pricing, terms, and service levels to achieve optimal total cost of ownership
Conduct cost analyses, benchmark pricing, and support long term cost reduction initiatives
Work closely with merchandising, procurement, transportation, quality, and compliance teams to ensure sourcing decisions meet business, regulatory, and operational requirements
Support the implementation of new systems and tools to enhance supplier visibility, performance tracking, and risk mitigation
Monitor global market trends, supply base shifts, and emerging sourcing opportunities
Provide category insights and recommendations to inform strategic planning and supplier selection

Required

8–10 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or procurement, preferably in a global environment
Demonstrated success in supplier management, negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives
Experience working with international suppliers and navigating global trade, compliance, and quality requirements
Proven ability to manage, mentor, and grow team members while fostering a collaborative, high-accountability culture
Proficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
Excellent communication and relationship building skills across cross functional teams
Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change
Ability to address situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%–20% for supplier visits, business reviews, and cross-functional meetings
Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks
Access to a home router and modem
A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible)
A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment
The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc
