Technical Program Manager, Mechanical Supplier Quality

Responsibilities
Work directly with suppliers managing end to end quality of complex mechanical infrastructure systems to solve complex product quality and process issues across the full product lifecycle (e.g., pre-FR through end of life)
Conduct audits and inspections of supplier production facilities, and statistically connect production line metrics and audits to field performance
Articulate quality improvement activities to reduce variability, improve predictability, responsiveness, and output quality, and monitor factory witness and acceptance testing. Perform 8D failure analysis to execute systemic corrective actions with demonstrated preventative solutions
Manage validation of suppliers' build/test processes and ensure they're meeting Google requirements. Validate supplier product life cycle quality deliverables defined by Google and leverage industry quality standards such as PPAP
Collaborate with design engineers, commodity managers, manufacturing engineers, operation program managers, and product managers to drive high quality products
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in program management
Experience in quality assurance and quality execution
Experience with manufacturing and supply chain processes
Preferred
5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience in one or more of the following: quality engineering, manufacture quality engineering, supplier quality engineering, supplier management
Experience with new product introduction
Ability to travel up to 75% as necessary
