Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial concrete work (foundations, slabs, walls, site concrete)
Analyze blueprints, project plans, and specifications to determine scope and pricing
Conduct quantity take-offs and develop thorough cost breakdowns
Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and field teams to align on scope, schedule, and logistics
Solicit vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing
Submit accurate, timely bid proposals
Maintain bid tracking, historical cost data, and estimating software databases
Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and early project planning
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years of estimating or commercial construction experience (with a concrete subcontractor or GC preferred)
Familiarity with construction software's and estimating tools
Strong organizational habits
Attention to detail
Team-first mindset
Degree in Construction Management or Engineering is a plus
