Responsibilities

Maintain a variety of electronic systems that monitor and control power generation, water control, and auxiliary equipment
Maintain network devices and communication systems necessary to remotely operate facilities and equipment from a central control location
Maintain electronic security systems consisting of electronic access controls and video surveillance systems
Perform high voltage industrial electrician maintenance duties
Hold and maintain safe clearances under the lockout/tagout program
Perform limited switching activities in support of operations

This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position
This position requires the ability to lift up to, and occasionally over, 45 pounds
Incumbent must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license at the time of appointment
Incumbents who have not completed a uniform U.S. Army Corps of Engineers training program will complete a series of hydropower electrician competencies within 6 months of hire
Information Assurance Technician I level certification is required
