Responsibilities
Drives city vehicle to different parks, trails, and facilities
Locks and unlocks park gates and facilities daily
Provides customer service in a friendly manner and provide public with information related to various city services
Empties trash cans in city parks, sidewalks, parking lots, right-of-ways and trails
Completes daily cleaning of restrooms, pavilions and other facilities
Performs basic maintenance of city parks and other facilities as required
Reports park and patron issues and other concerns to Supervisor
Identifies and reports vandalism and graffiti
May act as liaison and point of contact during some facility/picnic shelter rentals and volunteer activities
Observes all safety standards, practices, and warnings
Maintains tools and equipment and stores them properly
Participates in staff meetings, appropriate seminars, trainings and special meetings as per direction of supervisor
Assists with special events as directed
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED AND must be at least 18 years of age; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Must possess a valid Washington State driver's license
First Aid and CPR certification is required within six (6) months of hire
Available to work on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays
