Responsibilities
Network Design & Architecture: Develop and implement advanced Arista network architectures, including switches, routers, and automation frameworks, aligned with customer requirements and industry best practices
Deployment & Support: Configure, optimize, and maintain Arista network hardware and software (EOS, CloudVision), ensuring high availability, performance, and security
Automation & Optimization: Drive network automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, and CloudVision APIs to streamline configuration, monitoring, and operational processes
Troubleshooting & Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex Layer 2/3 network issues swiftly, minimizing downtime and impact on operations
System Enhancements: Propose and execute system improvements to enhance network scalability, reliability, and efficiency
Operational Excellence: Oversee routine upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks, implementing best practices for infrastructure stability
Collaboration & Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, ensuring seamless network and application integration. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years in network engineering, with extensive hands-on expertise in Arista environments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Deep understanding of routing, switching, network security, and automation within data center or cloud architectures
Arista ACE (L1–L3) or equivalent, DoD IAT Level II certifications (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security)
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance is mandatory
Exceptional communication, documentation, and troubleshooting capabilities; proactive problem-solving; ability to operate independently and collaboratively
