InternVarex Imaging Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support the R&D team in developing new hardware and software for controlling next generation X-ray tubes. The intern will work closely with an experienced engineer, taking on tasks in software/hardware development, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and verification and validation.

Responsibilities
Operate x-ray sources to perform basic functional tests
Support Focal Spot measurements, leakage radiation and dark radiation measurements
Design simple fixtures and bakeout setups
Operate high voltage generators and emitter control units via labview user interface
Document test results and procedures
Qualification
Required
Schematic and layout skills
Understanding of HW interfaces
Experience with KiCad or other layout tools
3rd year EE undergrad or higher
Preferred
Some experience with Labview
Python and/or ImageJ and/or Matlab experience a big plus
Experience SW interfacing with FPGAs at the register level
Ability to design and build simple circuits
Ability to design and fabricate simple components and fixtures
