IT Business Systems Analyst II
Flavorchem Corporation is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst II who will play a critical role in solving business and system challenges through data analysis and requirements gathering. The BSA will be responsible for developing business requirements, maintaining ERP systems, and collaborating with various business functions to drive efficiencies and informed decision-making.

Responsibilities
Develops and maintains a working relationship and understanding of business operations and system interfaces throughout the company
Serves as the primary liaison between IT and assigned business functional areas
Responsible for requirements gathering, specification development, test plan development and execution through interviews, workflow analysis and/or facilitated discussions with others
Assist in evaluating business needs, research and perform impact analysis of new requirements or changes
Gathers, analyzes, and reports on data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and architect business solutions that leverage ERP capabilities
Documents business processes and/or system functionality. Develops and maintains the corporate knowledge base for ERP and ancillary applications and associated environments
Serves as an expert on the functional configuration, capabilities, and usage of the company ERP system
Maintains application configuration, performs testing and troubleshooting to provide functional and technical support of the organization's ERP and its ancillary systems
Supports the design, build and testing of ERP configurations, new reports, workflows and 3rd party integrations
Develops training plan and provides ongoing training to users as needed
Develops test cases and performs comprehensive functional testing
Acts as the escalation point for help desk cases to ensure timely and accurate closure of issues
Serves as the primary point of contact to manage functional and technical issues with vendors
Maintains excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Assists with meeting planning, note taking, and follow-up tasks
Follows change control procedures and maintains proper documentation
Demonstrates strong customer services skills and a calm, positive, professional demeanor to accurately identify and resolve user issues
Strives to determine root cause of problems, identifies resolutions and coordinates fixes through completion
Keeps stakeholders informed of the progress of work and resolution of outstanding issues and tasks
Assists in the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects
Actively monitors new and emerging technologies, trends, issues, and solutions to remain current of developments in the industry
Properly dedicates time and energy to accomplish goals, tasks, and assignments with a willingness to do what it takes to get things done correctly
Develops relationships with teammates, project teams, business stakeholders, actively listens, deals honestly and effectively with others and is seen in a positive light by all
Delivers quality work on time, translates planning into action, proactively monitors and controls task status by collecting and analyzing task data to anticipate and address barriers, appropriately communicates, and resolves or escalates any problems that arise
Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and company data
Self-starter, able to work well with others, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing
Provides support as needed outside of normal business hours
Participates in 24x7 production support as needed
Works both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered
5+ years of professional working experience in technology space as a Business Systems Analyst
3+ years of experience supporting modern ERP and IT applications; defining and mapping business processes and understanding integration between various applications
Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate knowledge of O365 required, and deeper/advanced experience with Excel and/or Visio preferred
Excellent organizational skills
Detail-oriented
Positive attitude, highly adaptable
Ability to perform well under pressure and be resourceful in meeting deadlines
Reliable, predictable attendance is required
Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
Primarily an in-office position, however some flexibility is offered to work at home
Limited travel possible
Preferred
Deacom ERP experience is preferred, but not required
Manufacturing experience is a plus
Deeper/advanced experience with Excel and/or Visio preferred
