Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex individual, fiduciary, and closely held business tax engagements
Advise clients on wealth transfer strategies, estate and gift planning, and multi-generational tax issues
Oversee and review the work of managers and staff, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality client service
Serve as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying planning opportunities and risk areas
Collaborate with firm leadership to develop and grow client relationships and expand service offerings
Participate in recruiting, mentoring, and professional development initiatives within the tax team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university required
Active CPA license or EA certification required
10+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals, family offices, or private client services
Strong technical expertise in individual, trust, estate, and gift taxation
Proficient with MS Office Suite and tax research platforms (e.g., CCH, BNA, RIA)
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor team members
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with executive presence
Performing, documenting, summarizing, and reviewing research conclusions regarding specific tax issues
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and contribute to firm growth
Preferred
MST, JD, or LLM in Taxation a plus
Knowledge of ProSystems FX preferred
