HR Systems Operations Specialist

NEOGOV is seeking an HR Systems Operations Specialist to provide critical support for HR administrative and financial systems processes. This role involves ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of various HR tasks while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Complete employment verifications received via email and mail, including but not limited to Child Support, Fannie Mae, and PSLF
File documents in HRIS software and maintain HR-related records
Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets to allocate contract information for requisition preparation in the financial system
Monitor temporary staff time entries to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
Process employee address changes
Process accounting unit updates
Assist with employee terminations and related documentation in HRIS and employee offboarding system
Monitor and respond to HR-related emails

Required

Completion of a two (2) years of college or vocational technical school coursework in Business Administration, Human Resources Administration, or a related area
One (1) year of experience in administrative record keeping
Screening applications/resumes for minimum qualifications preferably utilizing an applicant tracking system or related experience
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

Benefits

Regular part-time employees who work 1,500 hours shall receive six (6) days of Sick Leave upon the completion of the 1,500 hours. If unused, this Sick Leave shall be allowed to accumulate to a maximum of fifteen (15) days (120 hours). Regular, full-time non-probationary employees who transfer to Regular, part-time positions will receive credit for the previous year's service for purposes of Sick Leave accrual and may carry over accrued Sick Leave accrual up to the maximum noted above.
Regular part-time employees who were in pay status (vacation, sick leave, or actual hours worked) for at least 1,500 hours during the year shall receive the following Vacation Leave: Up to 10 years of service (40 hrs.) = 5 days per year 10 years or more (60 hrs.) = 7-1/2 days per year
