Responsibilities
Conduct deep-dive analyses on device performance, connectivity, and platform reliability. You'll track key performance indicators for new product launches, monitor firmware performance, and help the team understand how physical product changes impact the customer experience
Partner with Firmware, Software, Hardware and Data Engineering teams to improve the reliability of our data. You will be responsible for identifying tracking gaps, documenting data schemas for new features, building pipelines using transformation tools, and ensuring our 'source of truth' for platform metrics is accurate
Build and maintain automated dashboards in Tableau or Hex that allow the Hardware and Platform teams to self-serve. You'll translate complex technical data into easy-to-understand visualizations for cross-functional stakeholders
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in product analytics, data analysis, or a related quantitative role
Experience working with hardware, IoT, or platform-based products is a significant plus
Strong SQL skills are a must
Comfortable performing complex joins and data cleaning
Experience with data visualization and exploration tools (Tableau, Amplitude, or Hex)
Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation
Experience with transformation tools like dbt is a plus
You have a 'detective' mindset
Enjoy digging into the 'why' behind a metric shift
Comfortable working with imperfect data to find the most accurate signal
Great partner to Product Managers and Engineers
Ability to take a technical question and turn it into a structured data project
Care about data documentation and ensuring that the numbers you present are validated and reproducible
