Represent agencies, boards, commissions, and their employees in administrative tribunals, as well as state and federal courts, including appellate courts
Assist with the review and drafting of administrative rules
Qualification
Required
A license to practice law in Iowa, or the ability to obtain one, is required
Applicants must have graduated from an accredited school of law to qualify for positions in this job classification
At the time of appointment, employees in this class are required to have been admitted to the Iowa State Bar and appropriate federal courts
Preferred
A minimum of three years of practicum experience is preferred, but we also welcome applications from new attorneys
Prior judicial clerking experience is a plus
