Responsibilities
Lead SIOP/S&OP activities, aligning demand, capacity, and inventory targets for drone platforms and key subsystems over a 12–24 month horizon
As lead of SIOP/S&OP, candidate must be capable and comfortable presenting to executive management, presenting the SIOP detail and answering detailed questions regarding backlog, forecast, inventory, and build plan
Build, publish, and maintain a finite-capacity master production schedule for drones and associated systems, constrained by material, labor, test cells, and special processes
Coordinate new product introduction and engineering change activity into the schedule, managing effectivity dates, retrofit plans, and phase-in/phase-out of configurations
Conduct ongoing scenario analysis and “return-to-green” planning when schedule risk emerges (late parts, test failures, rework, capacity loss), proposing recovery options and trade-offs
Monitor adherence to the master schedule, track key metrics (on-time starts/completions, schedule attainment, past-due, lead time performance), and drive corrective actions with operations and supply chain
Partner with supply chain to ensure long-lead and regulated components (ITAR, export-controlled, critical electronics, composites) are planned and procured in line with lead times and demand
Partner with Material Planning to maintain planning data integrity in the ERP/MRP system (BOMs, routing-based lead times, work centers, planning parameters) to ensure accurate signals and realistic schedules
Provide regular schedule status and risk updates to program management and leadership, supporting bids, proposals, and capacity planning for new drone programs
Support internal and customer audits related to planning, scheduling, and MMAS/compliance requirements typical in defense aerospace environments
Perform other duties as required
Qualification
Required

Understanding of capacity planning, lead-time management, and constraints in build, integration, and test of complex electro-mechanical systems
Ability to interpret engineering documentation, BOMs, and configuration changes and translate them into executable schedules
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills to influence operations, engineering, supply chain, and program teams
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience often accepted
7+ years in planning/scheduling or finance, with aerospace or defense experience preferred
Strong production planning and scheduling experience in a complex, production and engineering to-order low-to-medium volume manufacturing environment, ideally aerospace or defense
Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred
Master's preferred
APICS and/or CPIM certifications strongly preferred
