Investigating employee complaints
When someone reports harassment, discrimination, retaliation, unfair treatment, or policy violations, this person runs the investigation from start to finish

Gathering and reviewing evidence
This includes emails, messages, documents, policies, timelines—anything relevant to understand the situation
Staying confidential and unbiased
They keep information private and don’t take sides while the investigation is ongoing
Documenting everything clearly
They write detailed investigation reports and case notes using company templates, laying out the facts and findings
Recommending next steps
