Development Coordinator
BELOVED is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has served adult clients healing from sexual exploitation in Atlanta since 2012. The Development Coordinator supports BELOVED’s fundraising and donor engagement efforts through strong stewardship, systems management, and clear communication.

Responsibilities
Support stewardship of individual donors giving under $10,000 annually
Manage donor communications and follow-up via email, text, and invitations
Track donor interactions and next steps in Trello
Support donor retention and identify opportunities for cultivation in partnership with the Development Director
Provide administrative and systems support to the development function in coordination with the Development Director and Operations Manager
Maintain accurate, up-to-date donor records and pipeline tracking
Ensure development tasks are clearly documented, assigned, and time-bound
Support reporting and progress tracking toward development goals
Serve as the internal point person for grant coordination
Maintain grant documentation, timelines, and internal approvals
Support grant submissions with narratives, data, and attachments
Review grant drafts for accuracy and alignment with BELOVED’s mission
Participate in monthly meetings with external grant partners
Draft and manage donor-facing communications consistent with BELOVED’s brand and tone
Coordinate with communications staff and contractors as needed
Support donor engagement efforts connected to events and gatherings
Manage donor follow-up, stewardship, and documentation related to events
Ensure donor touchpoints are timely, thoughtful, and tracked
Maintain regular check-ins and communication with the Development Director
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners as needed
Support leadership with development updates and materials for board meetings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, Project Management, Social Sciences, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience in nonprofit development, project management, or donor engagement may be considered in lieu of a degree
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
Comfort working with donor data, tracking systems, and confidential information
Reliable follow-through and proactive problem-solving
Ability to receive feedback and work collaboratively in a team environment
Experience in nonprofit development or transferable experience in administrative coordination, project management, or relationship-based roles
