Financial Management Specialist
American Unit, Inc is seeking a Financial Management Specialist to oversee the Financial Management System and provide guidance on various compliance and documentation requirements. The role involves monitoring staff, analyzing financial datasets, and developing training procedures to ensure effective financial management practices.
Responsibilities
Financial Management (FM) System , including Federal Program Management (FPM)
Provide guidance on:
Cost classification and documentation requirements
CFR Title 200 compliance
Exception report analysis and transaction corrections
Monitor staff preparing weekly federal bills
Develop and update desktop procedures for cross-training and continuity
Analyze large financial datasets and reports
Adjust training methods to meet individual staff learning objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field
(Work experience may substitute year-for-year)
Minimum 2 years of financial management experience
Experience with financial information systems
In-depth knowledge of FHWA policies and procedures
Knowledge of CFR Title 200
Experience analyzing financial reports and large data sets
Experience serving as a trainer
Knowledge of GAAP
