Responsibilities
Assist the engineer/scientist in executing trials for Xeris’ technology platform products, focusing on mixing, product transfer, and filling unit operations
Assessing equipment and methods to condition the product for filling optimization
Drafting test study protocols and reports, data management, and analysis
Support MS&T team in day-to-day operations as needed
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas
Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed
At the conclusion of the internship, prepare a comprehensive review of the internship experience and present to the organization
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, pursuing a degree in the engineering or scientific field, and has completed a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate studies
Minimum GPA 3.0
Returning to an academic program at a credentialed institution for at least one semester post-internship
Strong interest in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Thrive in a fast-paced, diverse work environment
Preferred
Knowledge of pharmaceutical processes and unit operations
Technical Writing
Data Management/Analysis
Working in a lab environment. Understanding of laboratory guidelines and principles
