Responsibilities
Interfacing with customers through verbal and written communication
Estimating (labor and material take-offs, pricing, assembling bids, creating rough/budget/firm estimates)
Prepares estimates for potential projects, using hard-bid, design-build and conceptual estimating
Performs quantity take-offs, organizes and prices information
Solicits quotes from suppliers
Assists with the preparation of bid proposal for submittal
Prepares outline schedules for proposed projects
Assists staff members with various special projects related to estimating
Maintaining favorable and effective relationships with current customers
Favorably resolving customer problems in accordance with company policy and industry best practices
Provides customer service support
Qualification
Required
2+ years of sales/estimating experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
Excellent verbal, written communications and analytical skills required
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to Commute: Chesterfield, MO (Required)
Work Location: In person
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree Preferred (Construction Management/ Civil Engineering/ Construction Engineering Technology)
Construction estimating: 2 years (Preferred)
