Responsibilities
Develop and maintain custom AEM components and templates using HTL (Sightly) and Core Components to ensure a consistent, responsive UI across the vendor portal
Build and support robust integrations with backend retail databases and third-party APIs (REST/GraphQL) for real-time inventory and pricing updates
Implement complex OSGi services and AEM workflows for vendor onboarding, digital asset approvals, and automated notifications
Manage role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure multi-tenant security, preventing vendors from accessing sensitive competitor data
Utilize Adobe Cloud Manager for CI/CD pipeline deployments and manage Dispatcher configurations to optimize portal performance during high-traffic retail periods (e.g., Black Friday)
Partner with UX/UI designers to translate retail wireframes into functional code and support business analysts in refining vendor requirements
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience with AEM 6.5+ or AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
Strong proficiency in Java 11/17+, Apache Sling, OSGi, and JCR (Java Content Repository)
Hands-on experience with HTML, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern CSS (SASS/LESS)
Proficiency with Maven, Git, and Jenkins/GitLab for version control and automated builds
Understanding of e-commerce data structures (SKUs, PIM, DAM) and headless content delivery
Preferred
Familiarity with React or Vue is a significant plus
