Responsibilities
Review existing and design/implement new processes, standards, and practices to ensure efficient and effective data management, governance, quality, and accuracy across the organization
Work closely with business stakeholders and data owners to ensure standards, policies, and processes align with company-wide practices and implement local capabilities to govern data effectively
Qualification
Required
10-12+ years data management, data quality and data governance experience required
Excellent communication skills required to gather and document requirements, and provide guidance to business teams, technical teams, stakeholders and leadership
Must have in-depth knowledge of item master, customer master, product master, etc
Bachelor's degree in business, data & analytics, engineering, or comparable studies
10+ years of work experience in business, data, technology or related areas
Strong business acumen across multiple disciplines such as Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Product Development, and HR (prefer candidates with experience working in a business function at some point in career)
Experience leading data management / governance program or master data management function and process management
Experience on large scale technology projects with a focus on data
Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
Strong project management experience
Self-starting individual with can-do attitude
Strong reputation with the organization and proven track record
Ability to work with data in a technical and commercial context
Knowledge of industry leading data management and data governance practices
Deep skills with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design
Excellent analytical skills, a strong focus on details as well as problem-solving competence
Relevant experience in working at a senior level with technology and business stakeholders
Strong communication and facilitation skills in English and in an international and intercultural environment
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills
Exceptional leadership, relationship development and influencing skills
Ability to analyze and interpret critical path, draw conclusions, and prepare clear and concise analyses and recommendations
