Responsibilities
Partner with firmware architects and validation engineers to understand new firmware features and system interactions
Define and implement comprehensive platform-level test strategies to validate firmware functionality during boot and runtime
Develop detailed regression test cases and procedures aligned with automation and continuous integration practices
Conduct test execution, debug issues related to firmware, platform, and automation, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects
Contribute to test strategy development, coverage analysis, and test infrastructure improvements to enhance validation efficiency
Qualification
Required
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in firmware or software development and validation
Knowledge of pre- and post-silicon firmware/system test environments
Strong debugging skills at the SoC and system level
Experience with computer architecture concepts and enterprise server platform features
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and scripting languages like Python or Perl
