Responsibilities include: Visual inspection, in process inspection, final inspection audits, perform dimensional analysis, First Article Inspection
Types of measuring equipment at a minimum: Calipers, Indicators, Micrometers, go/no go. Comparators & Microscope (software aided) knowledge a plus
Must have Plastic Injection Molding Operation and Inspection experience
Must pass vision and color tests
Inspector must have MS Word & Excel spreadsheet knowledge. Data entry and some basic statistical/math knowledge is required
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to work un-supervised and well with others – in a team environment. Must be able to train others on quality criteria and gauging techniques
A general knowledge of ISO 9001 is needed, must comply with Company ISO policies and procedures
Inventory Control experience a plus
