Responsibilities

Onboarding & Offboarding Support
Build, image, and configure Windows-based workstations for new hires
Prepare laptops, peripherals, and accessories for day-one readiness
Provide day-one technical support for new employees (login issues, basic access, setup validation)
Decommission systems during offboarding, including device collection, data handling, and secure reset/wipe procedures
Tier 1 Technical Support
Serve as first-line support for basic IT issues across TS-supported sites
Troubleshoot common end-user issues (hardware, OS, connectivity, peripherals, basic applications)
Escalate issues appropriately to Tier 2/3 teams with clear documentation
Asset & Inventory Support
Assist with inventory management and asset tracking
Maintain accurate records for laptops, accessories, and assigned equipment
Support asset lifecycle processes (deployment, redeployment, retirement)
Documentation & Process Support
Follow established onboarding, offboarding, and support procedures
Document work performed in the ticketing system with clarity and consistency
Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization
Perform other duties as required
Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis
Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices

Required

Demonstrated a High level of customer service in a help desk/support role
Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and related technologies
Familiarity with virtualization technologies such Hyper-V
Familiarity with network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
Understanding of security and compliance standards such as NIST and CMMC
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly
1-3 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Active Directory and network infrastructure
Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred

A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred or equivalent experience
