Responsibilities
Create accurate Basemaps and Existing Conditions plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software
Working knowledge of points and point groups
Create surfaces from points utilizing Feature Lines
Create profiles and cross sections from surfaces
Ensure plans comply with company CAD standards
Prepare new Tax Maps for municipal clients. Revise existing tax maps
Maintain organized project records and documentation for future reference
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
Proven experience as a Survey CAD Technician or in a similar technical role
Proficient with 2D and 3D AutoCad Civil 3D software
Strong understanding of civil engineering and land surveying principles, terminology, and standards
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Highly attentive to detail, ensuring the accuracy plans
Preferred
Associate's degree preferred
Knowledge of MicroStation is a plus
Certificate of completion from a Technical School preferred
