Systems Integration Engineer

Mid LevelDigital Watchdog® is a leading manufacturer of NDAA/TAA compliant complete surveillance solutions, and they are seeking a Systems Integration Engineer. This role is responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable system integrations across the company’s core business platforms while maintaining SOC2 compliance.
Security
Responsibilities
Own and manage SOC 2 compliance for DW SaaS products, including readiness, audits, evidence collection, and ongoing controls monitoring
Develop, document, and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls aligned with SOC 2 requirements
Partner with internal stakeholders and external auditors to address findings, remediation plans, and continuous improvement
Monitor and manage security risks across integrated systems and third-party tools
Support incident response planning, access controls, and data protection best practices
Ensure security considerations are embedded into system integrations and workflow changes
Design, implement, and maintain integration between core platforms
Other operational and customer-facing tools as needed
Own data cleanup, normalization, and integrity across systems to ensure consistency and accuracy
Diagnose and resolve data sync issues, automation failures, and integration gaps
Document data flows, system dependencies, and integration logic for long-term maintainability
Evaluate and improve workflows between related platforms
Adjust automations, triggers, and business rules to better support sales, support, operations, and customer experience teams
Qualification
Required
Experience managing SOC 2 compliance for SaaS products, including readiness, audits, evidence collection, and ongoing controls monitoring
Ability to develop, document, and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls aligned with SOC 2 requirements
Experience partnering with internal stakeholders and external auditors to address findings, remediation plans, and continuous improvement
Skills in monitoring and managing security risks across integrated systems and third-party tools
Knowledge of incident response planning, access controls, and data protection best practices
Experience ensuring security considerations are embedded into system integrations and workflow changes
Ability to design, implement, and maintain integration between core platforms
