Responsibilities
Preparing paper rolls for printing
Unloading printed rolls
Receiving, cutting, rolling, placing and loading/unloading rolls of paper weighing up to 3500 lbs on and off of press equipment with the use of roll pushers
Removing core plugs and metal bands
Performing other necessary tasks throughout the plant including cleaning, general housekeeping duties, painting, sorting, cup-by-cup, lid-by-lid or tasks of a clerical nature
Following all Graphic Packaging International work rules, code of conduct and safety procedures and policies including wearing personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, hearing protection and safety goggles
Qualification
Required
Ability to prepare paper rolls for printing and unloading printed rolls
Experience in receiving, cutting, rolling, placing and loading/unloading rolls of paper weighing up to 3500 lbs
Ability to use roll pushers
Ability to remove core plugs and metal bands
Willingness to perform other necessary tasks throughout the plant including cleaning, general housekeeping duties, painting, sorting, cup-by-cup, lid-by-lid or tasks of a clerical nature
Follow all Graphic Packaging International work rules, code of conduct and safety procedures and policies
Wear personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, hearing protection and safety goggles
