Responsibilities

Payroll Data Verification: Review and verify payroll data for accuracy and completeness before submission to the bank
401(k) Compliance: Confirm that 401(k) contributions and deposits are submitted accurately and on time, in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Employee Support: Proactively contact employees regarding timekeeping submissions, provide guidance on timekeeping processes, and assist with resolving any issues or discrepancies
Data Management: Update and maintain employee data in the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, changes to pay rates, benefits, and other relevant information
Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure payroll data is accurate and up-to-date, and to address any payroll-related inquiries or issues
Reporting: Assist in generating and reviewing payroll-related reports to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

Required

Experience in payroll coordination, timekeeping, administration or a related role; Union payroll experience preferred
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong customer focus with a positive attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Eagerness and ability to learn new technologies
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products; Experience or knowledge of Dayforce, Sage, Deltek, or Spectrum Systems is a plus
Possess a sense of urgency to address critical issues
Candidates must have current work authorization in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available for this position
