Responsibilities
Act as Finance Manager supporting a newly formed Business Unit
Serve as business partner and intermediary between key stakeholders, the broader Finance team and Flutter Group
Support the migration and establishment of this Business Unit in FDG across all areas of the P&L (Revenue, Marketing Investment, Cost of Sales, OPEX including headcount) and Capital expenditure
Drive improvements in operational efficiency by proactively establishing streamlined processes, reporting and insights
Integrate business partnering through the entire workflow of the business, supporting all internal and external stakeholders as required
Support the evaluation of recommended investments (including analyzing ROI versus targets and objectives)
Provide financial decision support (budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, identification of cost drivers & efficiencies) to ensure optimal achievement of targets
Analyze monthly, quarterly, annual business results, KPIs, trends, and provide critical business insights to the BU leadership team
Address ad hoc financial analysis requests and inquiries
Qualification
Required
5+ years of Finance experience (preferably across Financial Analysis / Finance Partnering / Accounting)
Exceptional financial, analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactive & solution oriented in nature with a track record and passion for process improvement
Excellent communication skills; ability to distill financial data into clear and concise insights and actions
Exceptional organizational and relationship building skills
Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities effectively in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
Preferred
Accounting and other finance professional certificates (such as CFA, CPA, ACA)
Experience or an interest in sports, gaming or entertainment a plus!
