Responsibilities
Design, develop, and debug mobile SDKs for Android platforms using Android Studio (Java/Kotlin) and Xcode (Objective-C/Swift)
Work with product owners and stakeholders to define system requirements and ensure feature alignment
Provide technical support and troubleshoot existing solutions, addressing bugs and crashes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, implement, test, and deploy new Android mobile features in a fast-paced environment
Write clean, maintainable code, and perform testing (unit and integration) to ensure high-quality solutions
Mentor junior engineers, reviewing code, and ensuring high standards for quality, reliability, and performance
Contribute to continuous improvements in development processes and mobile SDKs
Complete product documentation, installation guides, and user manuals
Handle external device integrations (e.g., USB, Bluetooth, Ethernet) as needed
Participate in code reviews, agile practices, and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
7+ years of mobile development experience, with 5+ years focused on Android (Java/Kotlin)
2+ years of experience working with agile software development practices, including peer/code reviews
Expertise in designing, developing, testing (unit and integration), and deploying Android mobile solutions
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with minimal guidance
Ability to work with ambiguous technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
Ability to connect technology with measurable business value
Familiarity with Git, Rally, and Jira
Preferred
Experience with iOS development
Payments and/or point-of-sale experience
External device integration (e.g., USB, Bluetooth, Ethernet)
