Facility Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain necessary repairs in the facility. Includes equipment repairs, HVAC filter replacements, preventative facility maintenance and all other repairs necessary
Must have a valid drivers license and able to drive manual transmission vehicles
Conduct minor concrete work and/or asphalt sealing
Able to adjust and troubleshoot lighting ballasts
Ability to fuel, inspect and operate a forklift
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and possible repairs on equipment
Work on projects tasked by Supervisor
Performs minor repairs of electrical and plumbing
Responsible for allocation of repair times and documentation
Ensure repairs are efficiently completed in a safe and compliant manner to achieve minimal downtime and recurring breakdowns
Build a culture of ownership, accountability, respect, and teamwork
Ensure that all SOPs and GMPs are followed
Responsible for maintaining a clean and neat work and departmental area
Maintain a working knowledge of all systems
Serve as backup in all maintenance functionalities

Required

Must have a valid drivers license and able to drive manual transmission vehicles
Previous experience operating machinery, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
Knowledge of tooling and materials handling techniques
Write and speak English clearly and concisely
Must be able to work weekends, holidays and rotating shifts (day/swing) as needed
Possess sound analytical problem-solving and documentation skills
Demonstrate ability to prioritize conflicting demands

Preferred

Bilingual a plus
Forklift experience and certification is a plus
Experience / knowledge with HVAC, electrical and plumbing a plus
