Responsibilities
Manage development teams performing software maintenance and enhancements
Implement automated code merge, version control, and testing processes
Ensure code quality, performance, and security
Coordinate releases and support urgent software updates
Align development practices with PWS requirements
Comprehensive unit, integration, and regression tests
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
7+ years of software development leadership experience
Proficiency with modern programming languages, CI/CD tools, and version control systems
Experience in Federal or DoD application environments
Experience fully automating branching, merging, and testing using modern Git-based version control integrated with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins/GitLab CI or equivalent)
Amazon RDS for Oracle (or Aurora) for managed database performance/scalability
Experience implementing AWS IAM and Security Hub for least-privilege access and continuous monitoring and CloudWatch + GuardDuty for proactive threat detection
Proficiency in development tools such as: Java / J2EE, .NET / C#, Spring / Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Angular, React, HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript
US Citizenship with that ability to obtain/maintain federal clearance (Active clearance preferred)
