Responsibilities
Accurately diagnose and perform repairs on a variety of Nissan and pre-owned vehicles following manufacturer standards
Complete routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake work, and inspections
Identify additional service needs through thorough multi-point inspections
Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding repair needs, progress, and completion timelines
Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail on every repair
Stay current on factory training, technical bulletins, and industry best practices
Keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and compliance with dealership standards
Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, high-performing shop culture
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably at a new car dealership
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical bulletins
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining dealership standards
Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
Preferred
ASE certifications or equivalent technical training preferred
