Responsibilities
Define security requirements by evaluating business strategies, technical requirements, and security standards
Provide security consulting and guidance to application, infrastructure, and business teams
Serve as the lead security liaison on assigned projects
Advise development teams on secure architecture, secure design, secure coding practices, and SDLC controls
Review and validate security controls, including encryption, access controls, and identity management
Assess web application security risks, including OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
Review application and cloud architectures to ensure alignment with enterprise security best practices
Perform vendor risk assessments and cloud security assessments across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environments
Support static code analysis, dynamic testing, and manual security testing activities
Identify security gaps, document findings, and recommend remediation actions
Ensure compliance with secure development standards and regulatory frameworks
Represent information security risk in enterprise risk discussions and governance forums
Mentor junior security team members and collaborate across cross-functional teams
Deliver daily and weekly status reports on security activities and risks
Document processes, procedures, and assessment outputs for governance and SDLC compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
10–15 years of combined IT and information security experience
5+ years of experience designing and deploying enterprise security solutions
Strong knowledge of security risks, threat modeling, and risk mitigation techniques
Hands-on experience implementing security controls in cloud environments
Strong understanding of networking concepts, system architecture, and infrastructure security
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proven ability to lead, influence, and advise cross-functional teams
Preferred
CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, CCSK, or AZ-500
Experience with ISO 27001/27002, NIST, PCI-DSS, HITRUST, and GDPR
