InternCHRISTUS Health is providing a meaningful educational experience for college students to gain valuable experience in their field of study. The Intern will work on various projects in Finance, gaining networking opportunities and practical skills.

Responsibilities
Assist in preparing workpapers for variance monthly internal reporting
Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis
Document data sources, definitions, logic, and steps to workbooks and dashboards for reproducibility
Update, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards for KPIs and etc
Learn and apply data visualization best practices to present complex financial data in an intuitive and easily digestible format
Perform ad-hoc analysis to uncover trends, root causes, and opportunities related to financial performance
Conduct variance analysis and help investigate significant fluctuations
Partner with team members to understand their analytical needs and create solutions
Present findings to team members, practicing the ability to tell a story with data
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of college preparation towards major
Currently enrolled in a College degree program in one of the following degree program; [Finance/Accounting, or Data/Business Analytics]
SQL and Microsoft Office Skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work with others
Quick learner with attention to detail, high degree of confidentiality and solid organizational skills
Needs to be resourceful, innovative and persuasive with ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
