Responsibilities
Work and communicate effectively with the Sample Room Supervisor and other team members in a respectful and professional manner
Learn and maintain knowledge of SNF products, including basic characteristics and handling procedures
Ability to work within the Sample Request, Labeling, and FedEx systems
Prepare and package samples for shipment according to all regulatory and OSHA Hazard Communication Standards
Interface with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Production Planning, Quality Assurance Lab, and Regulatory Affairs departments
Assist with Sample Room inventory control, records management, ordering/organizing supplies, restocking activities, sample disposal, and general housekeeping
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
1-2 years of laboratory and/or chemical handling experience or relevant coursework is desired
Ability to become IATA (International Air Transport Association) Hazardous Goods certified within the first year
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess proven verbal and written communications skills
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office software applications, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access
Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills
Must be detail-oriented
Ability to listen well, solve problems, seek input/feedback, evaluate situations and options, and present/implement solutions
Capable of lifting up to 55 lbs
