Responsibilities
Manage calendars
Coordinate meetings and interviews
Respond to information requests in a timely manner
Coordinate team domestic and international travel and reimbursements
Develop and coordinate travel and itineraries of department guests, as well as host their visit
Format and edit documents
Assist with manuscript submissions
Manage calls and communicate messages as needed
Anticipate departmental needs and act upon them
Manage special projects
Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution
Maintains regular and predictable attendance
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED required
Minimum Requirement: 4+ years experience in administration or related areas
4+ years supporting Faculty is highly preferred
Some experience with activities involving planning, organizing and coordinating is important
Experience with tasks that involve managing routine or repetitive activities, high attention to detail and clear communication are critical
Demonstrated experience working with office technologies including Microsoft Office (Word/ Excel/ Power point etc.)
Attention to detail
Outstanding communication skills
Proficient use of various software technologies including Microsoft Office and Workday
Outstanding analytical skills
Positive attitude
Desire to support the mission of the department and of St. Jude
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
4+ years supporting Faculty is highly preferred
