Entry, Mid LevelEDM ZAP PARTS, INC. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join their team based out of Montgomery, IL. In this role, you will provide exceptional service and support to clients in the field, performing installations, maintenance, and repairs of EDM equipment while traveling extensively to customer sites.

Responsibilities
Perform on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of EDM equipment both old and New (1980s to Present)
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime
Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and calibrations to ensure optimal performance and complance with Nuclear & Aerospace Standards
Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and inventory
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service
Collaborate with team members and management to improve service processes and customer satisfaction
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance service delivery
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites
Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as multi-meter, O-Scope and software
Ability to learn programming software for PLCs & similar
