Responsibilities
Oversee night shift operations and ensure smooth production processes
Manage and lead the production team, providing guidance and support
Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality and safety standards
Coordinate scheduling and allocation of resources effectively to meet production targets
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and manage procurement as needed
Analyze production data to optimize processes and reduce waste
Prepare operating budgets and control costs within the production department
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication
Train and develop staff to enhance productivity and performance
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in food or dairy manufacturing
3+ years of management experience
Strong knowledge of evaporators, drying processes, and dairy production
Experience in developing and implementing SOPs
Strong organizational and inventory management skills
Proficient in operating budgets and financial control
Excellent scheduling and resource allocation abilities
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
Preferred
Bilingual Spanish is preferred but not required
