Assistant Director of Community-Engaged Learning and Service
Belmont University is seeking an Assistant Director of Community-Engaged Learning and Service to support the Belmont Formation Collaborative. The role involves overseeing service and community engagement projects, managing day-to-day operations of the office, and collaborating with students, faculty, and community partners.

Responsibilities
Manage the Service Wellness dimension of the WELL Core program with the assistance of our student worker team through campus-wide educational trainings, workshops, & materials, regular communication with undergraduate students and faculty, evaluation of student reflection submissions, inputting credits, and regular collaboration with the WELL Core Office to resolve technical challenges
Oversee Get Connected volunteer platform and act as primary liaison for student users and secondary liaison for faculty and community partners. This includes support of students with service requirements for their scholarship, training for community agencies, service-learning course assistance, troubleshooting errors, and gathering data for reports as needed
Plan and implement campus-wide service initiatives (e.g. Community Connections Fair, MLK Joint Day of Service, etc.) and collaborate with campus partners to strategically integrate community engagement into campus programming (e.g. Homecoming, It Must Be Wednesday, etc.)
Assist with hiring, mentoring, directing, and evaluating student workers to support the work of the Office of Community-Engaged Learning and Service
Coordinate with student workers and Belmont Formation Collaborative Communications Director to promote volunteerism and community engagement efforts through our social media, website, and newsletter
Represent the Office of Community-Engaged Learning and Service at internal campus events and external community events to promote a spirit of collaboration, relational care, and engagement
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience with community engagement, non-profit and/or volunteer management and experience in higher education
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in human service, education or related field
1-3 years experience in community engagement, non-profit and/or volunteer management, higher education required
Preferred
Master's Degree preferred
4-6 years preferred
